Dark Mojito

A classic mojito. This should really be a Friday night staple.


  • 50ml dark rum
  • 2 lime wedges
  • 2 bar spoons sugar
  • 9 fresh mint sprigs
  • a dash of soda water
  • sugar syrup
  • 1 – 2 dashes of Angostura bitters (optional)


  1. Smush the lime sugar and mint in the bottom of a sturdy highball glass, fill with plenty of ice and add the rum.
  2. Add a dash or two of sugar syrup, garnish with a final mint sprig.
  3. and enjoy.
